Farmingdale's Howitt Middle School students recently learned about internet safety and the consequences of sexting, after a visit from Nassau County Police Officer Sharon Galvin.
Galvin educated the students on the importance of these current issues with demonstrations, videos and engaging in conversation.
The students also learned important safety techniques pertaining to media safety in their everyday lives.
