Howitt Students Inducted into National Junior Honor Society

Middle School Students honored leadership, academic excellence.

The Farmingdale School District’s Howitt Middle School recently celebrated its 55th Induction Ceremony of the National Junior Honor Society’s Rhonda Cherry Chapter.

The inductees were honored for their leadership qualities, commitment to community service and academic excellence.

The ceremony was coordinated by Howitt Middle School teachers Jeanne Kuhner and Beth Ann Randazzo. The students were addressed by William Brannan, the District’s Director of Technology, as part of a key-note presentation.

All students that were inducted received an honorary certificate and an official National Junior Honor Society pin.
