Photos: Farmingdale Swimming Races Port Washington

#12 Farmingdale (4-3) took on #17 Port Washington/ Roslyn (0-5) Tuesday.

The Daler boys swimming team faced Port Washington on Tuesday at .

"This season has been great and the guys are really doing well. We started the season strong and have been doing great since," said Coach Ken Ilchukhe.

The Dalers started the season strong when they defeated rival team Massapequa by just two points along with their win over Manhasset by one point in consecutive meets. Last season, Coach Ken Ilchuk coached the team through a victorious season, finishing second in their conference.

Daler opponent Port Washington started the season 0-4. The two teams met last January and the meet ended with a 93-84 victory for the Dalers.

Captains Greg Carman and Joe Scaglione helped build morale prior to the match, motivating their teammates through a rigorous warm up. "We're doing really well like we planned and none of us expect to stop. We're ready to win this thing," Carman said.

The Dalers defeated Port Washington 92-85. Their next meet will be on Friday, Jan. 7 at Cold Spring Harbor.
