Saltzman Students Research, Report on Animals

Third graders use technology to prepare for a class trip to the zoo.

Third graders from Farmingdale's Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School recently researched various animals and drafted literature-based reports.

The students conducted research in the school’s computer lab and library as part of an animal science activity. The lesson was designed to enhance the student’s use of technology while learning about various species and life cycles.

The students researched the animals’ appearances, diets, habitats, specific life cycles, and how the animals defend themselves.
