Saltzman Students Take Part in "Red Ribbon Week"

Program focuses on healthy life choices, good decision making.

Farmingdale’s Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School recently conducted a program on healthy lifestyle choices and decision-making by participating in Red Ribbon Week.

The nationwide campaign is designed to teach students how to live a healthy, drug-free life.

During the week, students participated in a series of activities including wearing red, learning about healthy snack choices and food alternatives, walking the around the school’s track and planting red tulip bulbs around the school.
