Whiz Kid: Sabrina Remusat

Each week we are honoring Farmingdale students doing great things.

Each week, Farmingdale Patch seeks from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid.  Submit your nomination in our comment box below or e-mail the information to amandaf@patch.com. Be sure to include all of the following information.

Name: Sabrina Remusat

School:

Accomplishment: Remusat, a fifth grader, was selected out of thousands of applicants to be featured in Discovery Girls magazine. Discovery Girls is a magazine that was created 10 years ago to address the needs and concerns of young girls.  This national magazine is published every other month and highlights 12 girls that are selected through an in-depth application process.  Sabrina was chosen based upon a questionnaire she had submitted.  The magazine chooses girls that “have something to say, who have enthusiasm, personality and a certain spark.”  She will be participating in a photo shoot at the end of April, and her photos and bio will appear in the April/May issue.
