Dalers Dominate Plainview, 42-13

Hard-fought battle was played under the lights in Farmingdale in front of big crowd.

Farmingdale's football team scored an impressive victory over visiting Plainview Friday night, defeating the Hawks, 42-13.

A big crowd enjoyed a tough-fought battle between the two teams until the final quarter, when the Dalers pulled away with several late scoring drives.

Anyone have additonal information on car crash near 100 Manetto Hill Rd. in Plainview yesterday? I need more information to write my own story on recent crashes on a different news site... I know crash happened at 2:25pm Friday and closed lanes util approximately 6pm with investigation work... I took several photos but have not yet uploaded them to my site. One car left mangled, one overturned on sidewalk, possibly 3 victims with injury. Being that not one news site is reporting this accident(which is usually the case with mva's in the plainview/syosset area), I will obnoxiously write this.... One vehicle was a gold Prius with the plates of "NANIPAPA" taken to Sagamore in Oyster Bay and the other vehicle was a white Isuzu Suv hauled over to Bill's Towing in Hicksville... You may go to either location and get a pic for yourself! Once again, I am writing this because I am fed up with these plainview schmucks running and asking for all information to be held confidential because their either cops, lawyers, or fakes who are embarassed with themselves. You people are no better than the rest of us here on the island. Oh well, you can't hide the facts any longer, I will for now on be on your case' like butter on toast! If there's an incident in our area, I will Find and Post the facts, no more need for lousy-Dowd work. YOUR WELCOME

What has the car accident got to do with a kids' football game? While I get your frustration at the number of accidents in this area, this does not seem like the proper place for a comment. Also, people have accidents due to a momentary poor judgment, wet roads or unexpected events - not everyone involved in an accident deserves to be humiliated or embarrassed by having their license plate or vehicle location identified for everyone to see.

I've just posted a story to the site on this incident. It was a relatively minor accident, like many in the area that go uncovered. The damage was severe to the car, but fortunately police have confirmed the injuries were not life-theatening. There were no charges in this case, as well.

I hope James has a very skilled copy editor, because he can't write worth a damn. Maybe he'll be kind enough to furnish the name of his site so that we can avoid it.
