The 29th annual Runner’s Edge Long Island 5 Kilometer Women’s Run/Walk, will be held on the roads of Farmingdale Saturday, July 14.
The event will start oat the southern end of Woodward Parkway in Farmingdale promptly at 8:30 AM on the morning of the 14th and the runners and walkers will finish on the Farmingdale High School track.
United States Olympic racewalker Maria Michta has registered to compete in the event.

The lead sponsor of the Runner’s Edge Long Island 5 Kilometer Run/Walk is the Runner’s Edge running and multisport store in Farmingdale, with the matrimonial law firm of Mejias, Milgrim, Alvarado serving as the Presenting Sponsor.
Race management is by the Greater Long Island Running Club, with GLIRC’s Debbie Blair serving as the Race Director.
