Farmingdale capitalized on turnovers and the football team put on a strong defensive showing in Friday night's 21-6 win against Baldwin.
Farmingdale is now 2-0 in Nassau Division I.
"[We wanted to] try and burn the clock and keep it out of [Baldwin's] hand," Farmingdale coach Buddy Krumenacker told Newsday Friday.
Farmingdale's Matt Dittmeier scored on a 5-yard run for a touchdown in the first quarter and finished the game with 21 yards on four carries. Kevin Petit-Frere rushed for 73 yards on 10 carries.
Farmingdale quarterback Joe Valente completed 3-of5 passes for 22 yards.
