Farmingdale Football Romps in Playoff Opener

Curtis Jenkins ran for 103 yards and three touchdowns as Farmingdale High School cruised to a 56-7 win against Valley Stream Central Friday.

Vinny Quinn was an efficient 6-of-8 for 131 yards and two touchdowns for the Dalers. Michael Outing, Shevaun Mitchell and Quinn added touchdowns on the ground as well.

Defensively, Matt D'Antonio recorded a sack, and both Christian Hernandez and Tom Ammirati recovered fumbles. Lastly, Dylan Smith recorded an interception.

Up next for Farmingdale, they face Syosset on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Hofstra University. If they win that game, the Dalers will compete for the county title on Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. at Hofstra as well.
