Farmingdale Football Tops Syosset, Advances to County Finals

The Farmingdale High School football team defeated Syosset Saturday 28-21 to advance to the Nassau County Championship. 

The two teams exchanged touchdowns in the first quarter, with Vinny Quinn running one in from 12-yards out for Farmingdale. 

Curtis Jenkins scored in the second quarter to put the Dalers ahead for good. Jenkins had 187 yards rushing on the day.

Quinn added 195 yards in the air and a touchdown pass to Micheal Outing in the win. Farmingdale now will prepare for a showdown with Massapequa Saturday at 4 p.m. at Hofstra University.
