Farmingdale State (12-12) also earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The bracket will be announced Monday at 2:30 p.m. on ncaasports.com.
“It was a game of spurts and defense and after the team struggled from the free throw line, Nicky Young hit two clutch free throws to win the game," Rams Coach Chris Mooney said. "The team is very excited to be going to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history.”
The Farmingdale men also played for the Skyline title at Purchase, but fell 71-48.
