Dalers to Host Big Fall Lacrosse Tournament

Farmingdale's girls lacrosse team is sponsoring a major fall lacrosse tournament and teams from around the region are invited to participate.

The event, scheduled for Sept. 29 at Farmingdale High School, is open to any and all teams ranging from grades 3-12. The all-day event runs from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

All levels will play 7 vs. 7 plus a goalie in the tournament's format.

The team fee is $500 for a team of 10 players, with $50 for each additional player. The maximum amount of players is 15 per team, organizers said. There will be 10 teams per bracket.

The fee includes four, 25-minute games with certified officials.

To register, coaches fill out a team application and forward it with a non-refundable deposit of $200 per team, due by Aug. 15, to:

 Turfs and cleats are recommended for all fields.
