Sophomore Adam Larkin of Bellmore shot a final round 72 to cap off a five stroke victory at the Farmingdale State Invitational held at Bethpage State Park - Red Course.
Larkin entered the final round with a one-stroke lead over Dowling's Kurt Brey after posting a round one score of 71. Larkin played the last eight holes one-under par en route to a two-day total of 143 (71-72) and medalist honors.
Dowling College shot back-to-back rounds of 300 to capture the team championship with a two-day total of 600. The Rams finished in second place with a total of 623 (321-302).
Farmingdale State's Rob Deleo of Dix Hills fired a final round 76 for a two-day total of 159 and a ninth place finish. Sophomore Rich Kelly of Oceanside finished tied for 11th with rounds of 85 and 77.
Brey finished in second place individually with a two-day total of 148 (72-76), while Jake Farley of Dowling shot 76-74-150 for a third-place finish.
