Senior night will mark the regular season farewell to the biggest athlete in Farmingdale State College history.
Not only is 7-foot-1 center A.J. Matthews perhaps the tallest athlete in school history, he’s big-time too. NBA scouts have Matthews on their radar as speculation grows whether he can jump from NCAA Division III ball to the NBA.
Either way, here’s one more chance to catch Matthews soar in a Rams uniform before he’s gone.
The Farmingdale State men’s basketball team (17-6 overall, 13-3 conference) wraps up its home schedule Tuesday against Yeshiva at 8 p.m.
The Rams are the defending Skyline Conference champs. The Tournament begins Feb. 19.
