Racewalker Maria Michta surprised no one Saturday, easily leading the competition and surpassing many runners in a 5k race in Farmingdale.

Patch will have race results and plenty of photos later Saturday.

Michta competes Aug.11 in the women's 20k racewalk in the London Olympics.
