Photos: Farmingdale Boys Lacrosse Defeats MacArthur, 12-1

Strong defense and impressive offense contributed to Dalers win.

It was chilly at Don Snyder Stadium Friday night, as the (5-2) took on the MacArthur Generals (3-5).

Within minutes, the Dalers high power offense kicked into high gear. Brian Prendergast scored the first two goals, followed by goals by Pat Starke and John Ragno, to give the Dalers a 4-0 lead leaving the first quarter. To start the second, the Dalers were down a man for three minutes for an illegal stick and the Generals took advantage of the opportunity, scoring within 49 seconds.

Dalers defense stepped it up, preventing MacArthur from scoring again for the rest of the game. Together with winning face-offs, ball control and a strong defense, Prendergast scored his third goal to give the Dalers a 5-1 lead at half-time.
