The Farmingdale boys lacrosse team is headed to the Long Island Championship, with a win over Massapequa in the Nassau County Class A final on Tuesday.
The top-seeded Dalers (14-4) picked up the game-winning goal from Greg Catalano with 2:12 remaining in the final quarter against the second-seeded Chiefs (14-4) to win 15-13.Â
Brian Prendergast led Farmingdale with four goals and three assists and Korey Hendrickson added four goals and an assist in the win.

The Dalers will take on either Smithtown West or West Islip in the Long Island Championship at Stony Brook University Saturday at 2 p.m.
