Both the boys and girls teams played for Class A titles this weekend.
Both the Farmingdale boys and girls lacrosse teams competed in Long Island Class A Championship games this past weekend.
The boys lacrosse team over West Islip with a score of 10-9 in an exciting overtime win at Stony Brook University. West Islip had won of four of the last five state championships, including back-to-back state Class A crowns.
The girls lacrosse team to capture the Class A Long Island championship Saturday night at Hofstra University with a 14-7 win.
