Airpower Museum is Great Option Today in Wake of Cancellation.

Disappointed about Jones Beach? We have an option right here.

The weather has scrubbed the Bethpage Air Show for Saturday, but Farmingdale's American Airpower Museum is open and is the home flight line to many of the historic planes that were grounded today.

The museum issued a statement saying all visitors are welcome to the museum on New Highway to view a ground display of the historic WW-era aircraft and armor.

Organizers say wear your slicker.

The collection includes fighter planes and transports along with a detailed history of the era and the planes built inside the very hangar the museum is housed in. Planes from other museums are also on display, with an impressive new collection of armored vehicles.
