Crossroads Church Holding Blood Drive on Monday
MLK Day Holiday drive is from 2:30-8-30 p.m. at Carmans Road church.
The Crossroads Church of Long Island is holding a blood drive Monday from 2:30-8:30 p.m.
The church, located at 610 Carmans Road, Farmingdale, is encouraging donors to join them. Experts say a blood donation can save up to three lives and, at this time of year, blood supplies are often low.
The requirements:
- Bring ID with signature or photo.
- Minimum weight 110 lbs.
- Age 16 – 75 (16 year olds must have parental permission. Age 76 and over need doctor's note.)
- Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids
- No tattoos for past 12 months
