Chamber to Honor Aldieri; Update on Vandalism

Here's a quick look at the week ahead in Farmingdale:

1. The Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce will honor its 2013 Outstanding Small Businessperson of the Year, Dr. Daniel J. Aldieri, Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Nutty Irishman downtown. Details here.

2. We'll have more this week on the damage to the Sept. 11 Memorial at Kathy Mazza Memorial Park.

3. The 3-0 Farmingdale varsity football team defeated Syosset over the weekend. We'll have a report Monday.

4. Given the dangers on local waters and the changing state law, consider traveling to Syosset on Tuesday for an American Boating Course, being offered by the Oyster Bay Power Squadron. See details here.
