Woodworkers Plan Special Show at Old Bethpage this Weekend

Restoration village to host 17th annual show of handcrafted wood art and fine furniture.

The Long Island Woodworkers will hold their 17th annual "Woodworking and Furniture Show" this weekend at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Round Swamp Road.

After being blown away by Hurricane Sandy last year, the show returns Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9-10, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is included with paid entry to the Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

The exhibition will include a display of skillfully crafted furniture, from Mission to Modern as well as a variety of handcrafted wood art. In addition, there will be demonstrations throughout the day by Woodturners, ScrollSaw Artists, Woodcarvers, and Cabinet/Furniture makers.
