Gerry Horne what I think you are missing is that the fine is $525 for something that cost 89 cents.Read More That's what is disgusting. The rent a cop could have given him a warning and let him pay the freaking 89 cents. Then if he was caught again then taken it to the next level. Now this guy has a huge fine and can no longer work at his job site. All of this for a freaking soda...unbelievable!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Igor April 17, 2014 at 05:56 pm
Is this cop any relation to Bloomberg in NYC? No large sodas.

You can believe the Mayor of New York will use this footage to help his case to get rid of ALL horseRead More drawn carriages in New York he promised he would do.
MillicentBroderick April 17, 2014 at 08:00 am
Horses should not be nose to exhaust pipe on city streets. That is cruelty and the horse had hadRead More enough.
kathleen macmurray April 17, 2014 at 08:46 am
A horse and carriage ride in a park, fine. But not on busy, crowded city streets. It's cruel to theRead More horse and dangerous to everyone else. I'm with the NYC mayor on this one.

There is always a reason for a price-increase - I can't remember ever reading about a reason for aRead More price-decrease. It's possible no one else has noticed this. Isn't capitalism wonderful?

The disease came from China! Aids came from Africa, other diseases come from Mexico but yet we letRead More people flood to this country and they bring those diseases with them!

The price of pork can also go up because the price of beef is up. It's not just weather andRead More disease, it's also cost of fuel.

The cause must become the solution as the solution becomes the cause. In a government build from theRead More ground up, change must come the same way. To expect it otherwise is to invite disappointment and frustration which seems a fair assessment of where we seem to be collectively as exemplified by the tone in many of the replies to this thread alone.

If they would only enforce the "Keep Right, Pass Left" law, they would get rid of most ofRead More the "aggressive driving" (moving around dangerously between lanes and passing on the right) and road rage simply because there would be no one holding them up in the left lane. "Keep Right, Pass Left" is easier to enforce than speeding and would also make the enforcement of speeding easier since those speeding would most likely be in the left lane. Win, win, win. This, along with signaling lane changes, is what makes the Autobahn (with very high speed limits /no speed limits at all) safer than the US highways.
Bryan Rivera April 17, 2014 at 02:25 pm
How many LI drivers are routinely using the Taconic? NY State police don't patrol the LIE, so youRead More can still drive like an asshole there during "speed week." They do patrol the parkways, though, so I guess you can expect to see three or even four state police cars as opposed to the normal one per parkway.

No trial, just get this loser off the streets. 20 year prison sentence would be a good start.

I wonder when they plan on putting the CIA on trial for conspiracy to distribute these drugs...orRead More when they plan on going after the big pharma companies that are the main buyers of the product they're trying to get rid of. With everything the way it is, it is hard to believe that big government and big pharma is not colluding to produce huge profits at the expense of the addicts they cultivate. Look up zohydro...a drug ten times stronger than oxycontin. We have enough problems with oxy, why would you multiply that problem by ten?

New York Patriot, you're the one the challenge me, I produced, now we change the subject, howRead More convenient. conservatives do it all the time, they can't answer a question so they change the subject.
New York Patriot April 17, 2014 at 05:48 pm
Mr. Wulterin, I posted a comment to which you responded as follows: "New York Patriot, that'sRead More so dumb, it doesn't deserve a response." It was on that basis that our conversation began. If I challenged you on anything, it was to cease and desist your name calling, angry, disrespectful commenting. I also challenged you to allow for the idea that people come in many flavors in terms of thoughts, beliefs and opinions. Your responses appear to showcase your inability to be a civil, tolerant, respectful, productive participant in this conversation. Thus, I will no longer engage you and suggest others consider doing likewise. Have a pleasant evening.
Robert Wulterin April 17, 2014 at 05:51 pm
yeah I was pretty tired of you. good god conservatives are so frustrating.

Stephanie Steele, no, I did not see the report. By your description, it makes it even worse. BecauseRead More the "Adult" that rented the Party Bus had too know exactly what was going to happen. As for my comment above stating "But the main responsibility should of been with the kids themselves." was from a " they should of known" point of view. Legally, it is definitely the parents responsibility.
EG April 16, 2014 at 09:02 pm
Maybe the "kids" just figured out how much they needed to borrow for college on top of theRead More 100+ grand of debt they each inherited from the current generation of idiots. How can you blame them for wanting to get drunk?
