It was recently ranked among the top 100 public colleges in the nation in the earning power of graduates and offers 26 baccalaureate degrees and nine associate degrees.</p> <p>The school has a long history in the area. The college dates back to the early 1900s, when it was known as the New York State School of Agriculture on Long Island (NYSSA). Since then, the college has grown significantly but has maintained its focus on technology.
