Judy Cangemi, Neighbor

I was born in a hospital in Manhattan, survived an abusive  childhood and adolescence in Flushing and Glen Oaks respectively that have been trying my whole adult life to cope with. It was not all bad. I had wonderful friends throughout and I would not have been able to survive without them, especially my husband. Now I am the mother of an absolutely perfect daughter and I am trying to find my way in my own life while guiding her into hers.

Life is beautiful today.  I am wife and mother to the greatest family in the world. We have a terrific life on the South Shore of Long Island. Here, we get the best of all worlds -- a healthy walk to our Hamlet's private beach for the Great South Bay, beautiful Robert Moses just over the bridges for the ocean, a train ride away from the Greatest City in the World and some of the most beautiful homes in all shapes and sizes that you'll ever see. I love it here. For the first seven years of my real estate career, I was in Queens. Now I am back home where my heart is, here on Long Island.
