Peter Gallanis
I have been a Chicagoland journalist since 1993. I made my bones as reporter, editor and columnist with The Winfield Estate and then The Warrenville Free Press, both community newspapers located in Chicago's west suburbs.
I have written three trade books: author, How to Become a Fashion Designer; co-author, How to Become a Personal Shopper; and co-author, How to Become an Event Planner, all published by FabJob Ltd. I am currently seeking agent representation for my first fiction novel, Palatine: The Case of the Brown's Chicken Massacre. I graduated in 1993 from Northern Illinois University where I majored in English and minored in journalism. I have been a Crystal Lake resident since 2006 and I live in the Coventry subdivision with my lovely wife Chriselda, son Alexander, daughter Antonia and our dog, Harley the Wonder Mutt.
