Police: E. Farmingdale TD Bank Robbed

Robber said he had a gun and demanded cash Saturday afternoon, police say.

A TD Bank in East Farmingdale was robbed Saturday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police. 

Police said a man entered the bank, located at 90 Broad Hollow Road, at 12:09 p.m. and approached a teller with a note stating that he had a gun and demanding cash. 

The teller complied and gave the robber cash from the drawer, police said.

The man fled on foot northbound through the parking lot, police said.

The robber was described as a white male in his mid-20s, approximately 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-6, wearing a red and black hooded-ski jacket.

Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
